Selected Awards

  • Award / Honor Nominee: Observation on visibility of my research (not Nominee): I have been the lead (first) author on nearly all of my 28 refereed journal articles since arriving at Texas State University. I continue to provide research visibility to Texas State University as one of the top cited authors currently in the Department of Accounting. Of the current Department of Accounting regular faculty, Google Scholar indicates that I have the second most research citations in total (1,149). I have 50 to 80 research citations every year since 2014 (to date). I have the highest h-index of all department faculty (h=19) - meaning 19 publications cited 19 or more times each (next highest in the department is 13). My i10 index is also the highest of all department faculty at 29 (where the second highest is 15). I have also been cited annually (multiple occurrences for most years) in articles published in “A+” rated journals by the ABDC and the McCoy journal list (including in The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Accounting Organizations & Society, Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Management, Academy of Management Journal, etc.). 2014 - 2023
