Biography Section

Biography and Education

Dr. Lally received her Ph.D. in Health Sciences with an expertise in lower extremity clinical biomechanics from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Her research areas of emphasis include biomechanics of knee injury and running-related injury, movement interventions, the effects of music on exercise and movement, and psychosocially informed intervention in athletic training. An athletic trainer since 2010, her research is devoted to feasible, patient-centered interventions that can be accessed at a majority of athletic training settings. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance at Texas State University where she continues her research in the Clinical Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology Lab and teaching in the Master of Athletic Training Program and HHP department.
