Biography Section

Biography and Education

 Dr. Denae Dyck holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Victoria, an M.A from Dalhousie University, and a B.A. from Ambrose University. Her publications include articles in Victorian Poetry, Victorian Review, Victorian Popular Fictions Journal, European Romantic Review, and Christianity and Literature. She is the author of Biblical Wisdom and the Victorian Literary Imagination (Bloomsbury Academic, 2024). This book traces the imaginative refashioning of wisdom literature as a genre that took on new significance during the nineteenth century. Her ongoing research focuses on late nineteenth-century women writers, alternative spiritualities, and periodical press networks.
