Biography and Education

Ryan Penlerick is a Professor of Practice and Program Director for the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) Program in the Department of Engineering Technology at Texas State University. Mr. Penlerick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University, and his Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Mr. Penlerick's current pursuit of a Ph.D. in Construction Science includes research in improving construction science and management education. Mr. Penlerick has over 24-years of construction and concrete industry experience, having worked for and owned multiple companies within the industry. As a construction science and management professional, Mr. Penlerick has extensive experience in the management of a diverse array of projects in the commercial, residential, multifamily and concrete construction sectors with a proven track record in leadership roles with a focus on quality, timeliness and cost performance.
