Biography Section

Biography and Education

Dr. Krishna Kisi received his doctoral degree in Engineering (Construction Engineering and Management) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2015 and served as an assistant professor in two other institutions prior to Texas State University. He holds M.S. in Construction Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Tribhuvan University in Nepal. Dr. Kisi is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas and his work experience includes designing and supervising residential houses to managing commercial projects. Dr. Kisi’s papers are published in journals such as ASCE Journal of Construction Engineering and Management, ASCE Journal of Legal Affairs and Dispute Resolution in Engineering and Construction. Dr. Kisi has taught over 16 different construction engineering and management courses. Dr. Kisi has provided Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) annual refresher training to surface miners at Connecticut and Rhode Island. His safety training grants were funded by the U.S. Department of Labor.
