Biography and Education

Ron Brown came to Texas State in 1975 and teaches courses in United States history, with specializations in the Trans-Mississippi West, oral history, and intellectual and political developments in the 20th century. He was educated in Indiana and Illinois, and has spent much of his career in part-time or full-time administration: program director, dean, asst. vp.
