Biography and Education

I come from San José, Costa Rica, from a small town known as the Spanish language learning city since the main Language school were located here, I grew up understanding the importance of teaching Spanish effectively and the struggles that some students have to go through to learn another language. That background inspired me to follow this carrier. I went to College in San Pedro, C.R to gain my bachelors in Education and my first Master Degree in Education with a emphasis in Administration. After teaching Spanish for more than 15 years in Costa Rica. I moved with my husband to Texas where I graduated with my Masters in Spanish from Texas State University. Since 2009, Texas State has been my home where I have the opportunity to teach the language I love and help my students to reach their professional goals.
