Biography and Education

Kim Belcik, PhD, RN-BC, CNE is a clinical assistant professor at the St. David's School of Nursing at Texas State University. Kim graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a BSN in 2002 and completed her PhD in 2011 at the University of Texas at Austin. She has been an active member of the Texas Nurses Association since 2002 and has served as the Vice-President as well as the chair of the Policy Council. Teaching Interests

Lead transforming the St. David’s School of Nursing to become an Apple Distinguished School.

Research Interests

Become the national expert in blockchain technology in nursing.
Recognition as an expert in creating cultures of scholarly caring at schools of nursing.
Build a unique program of research which re-envisions the relationships between and among nursing faculty and nursing students.
