Biography Section

Biography and Education

Professional work includes providing speech/language and dysphagia services to individuals across the lifespan in residential, acute care, outpatient, skilled nursing and home health settings. All of these settings have included supervising and mentoring graduate students in the field. I have also been a department manager and rehabilitation director. The past 7 years, I have been a faculty in the Communications Disorders Department at Texas State University.

Research Interests

High risk teenagers/language and literacy.
