Biography and Education

Dr. Cathy Cherrstrom is Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational, Workforce, and Leadership Studies. Before joining Texas State University, Dr. Cherrstrom had 25 years of experience leading and managing teams in the financial services industry, most recently as Senior Vice President and Business Banking Executive, and extensive non-profit and community service. She earned her Ph.D. in Adult Education and Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University.
